Turiah Cricket Helmets provides a wide range of products to meet the needs of every customer. From initial design to final quality assurance processes, we make sure our goods are reliable and exceptional. Our aim is to be the best-known name in the industry.

To create our helmets we have based the design off of a turtle's shell.

Turtles are reptiles with hard shells that protect them from predators. Their shells are streamlined so they can travel fast through the water. A turtle's shell is a modified rib cage and part of its vertebral column. The shell is made up of about 60 bones.

Mid-way through 2017 our class was asked to create a buyable product that had to include biomimicry. As I have a love for the sport of cricket, I wanted to make a product that was connected to this sport. The use of the turtle shell came from me brainstorming different ideas about what could be used to make the helmet better. I decided to have a turtle's shell as the main idea behind the design of our helmets. In between each pattern (hexagon), on the helmet, they have very small airways in which air can come into contact with the head of the batsman. Our helmet uses more of the design of a turtle shell rather than the structure and materials that make up a turtles shell.

From the use of biomimicry and the imagination, Turiah Cricket Helmets was created. Below is an initial sketch of our helmets.
